    Hole 1 Par 4 Play longer then ardage. Usually into the wind. Water to the right side of the green. Aim tee shot at the left side of school.

    Hole 2 Par 4 Generous landing area. Favor right side of the fairway. Elevated green makes second shot play longer the actual yardage.

    Hole 3 Par 3 Difficult par 3. Water hazard short and left of the green. Favorite right side of the green. Can you thread a needle.

    Hole 4 Par 4 O.B. to the right side of dogleg, don’t try to cut off to much of the corner. Bunkers and heather guard the corner.

    Hole 5 Par 5 Course Management needed to play this hole. Water in front and left of green. Water is 165 yards from right fairway bunker.

    Hole 6 Par 3 Good Par 3. Usually with the wind. Deceiving length as part of the fairway is hidden from view. Favor right side.

    Hole 7 Par 5/4 The 1st of Charlie’s Corner. Not a hole for the faint of heart. Ideal tee shot left of bunkers, 180-200 yards is a good lay up. Play 2nd shot to crest of hill, 3rd shot plays shorter than yardage.

    Hole 8 Par 3 Club selection is “critical” plays shorter than you think. Shots over the green are probably going to be wet. Deep bunker right.

    Hole 9 Par 4 Good Luck! Tee shot is critical Ideal shot is 170 yards off tee. Favor right side of the fairway. Short hole but difficult.

    Hole 10 Par 4 Aim tee shot at right fairway bunker, fairway slopes right to left. Extra room to left side of fairway.

    Hole 11 Par 4 Trouble left and long on tee shot. (water) Aim at left corner of bunker. 200 yard tee shot leaves short iron to green.

    Hole 12 Par 3 Plays uphill and generally into the wind. Large green makes club selection important, don’t hold back.

    Hole 13 Par 4 180 yard carry needed from white tees. Hidden bunkers guard the green. Three shot hole for mere mortals.

    Hole 14 Par 4 Short and straight here. 200 yards off tee leaves you just short of bunkers. 2nd shot plays downhill, play less club.

    Hole 15 Par 5 Severe dogleg to the right with O.B. on the right. Don’t cut the corner unless you can hit it long. Telephone pole with square is the line for 2nd shot. Good birdie opportunity.

    Hole 16 Par 3 Must clear bunker on left front. Take it in high. Plays shorter than yardage.

    Hole 17 Par 4 Aim tee shot just left of right fairway bunker. Good length. Oven the green is trouble.

    Hole 18 Par 4 “Grip it and Rip it.” Aim at Charlies chimney. Water to right of green so favor left side for approach. Wave to Groff’s after holing out.
